Licensing service of Revd Dr Delysia Timm

Welcome to all who will be joining us at St Mark Chapelry -( Second Street Hillay) for a Eucharistic celebration at 8am on Sunday 23 March 2014 for the licensing service of Revd Dr Delysia Timm as the Priest in charge of the Parish of Bellair. The liturgical dancers led by Bronwyn Kirk from St Columba in Greenwood Park will also minister during the service which will be conducted by Bishop Nkosinathi Ndwandwe.

Revd Dr Delysia Timm was ordained as a Community priest in November 2011 whilst at St Augustines Anglican Church in Queensburgh. She joined the Parish of Bellair as an assistant to Reverend Vena Rhind in December 2011.

As a self-supporting priest,  Delysia also works as an Advisor Special Projects in the office of the Deputy Vice Chancellor :Academic at the Durban University of Technology. Her Doctorate in Technology (Education) and Bachelors degree in Theology both of which she was awarded in 2013 serve her well in both her ministry in the church and her employment at the university.

Revd Dr Delysia Timm is supported by her loving husband Kelvin and her two sons Evan and Lance in her ministry.
